| The Heart to Heart Pet-a-Rama in partnership with the PACC 911 invites you to find your new best friend at the Heart to Heart Pet-A-Rama |
Over 10,000 square feet of covered space will protect hundreds of animals looking for someone to love. "Meet Your New Best Friend @ the Heart to Heart and Pet-A-Rama" offers a relaxed outdoor atmosphere and a variety of healthy animals looking for new homes. One couple who found a playmate for their 7-year-old cat at last year's event described it well: “It beats going from shelter to shelter. It’s a convenient way to do what we wanted to do,” The PACC 911 will bring together a host of humane organizations with a variety of homeless pets for adoption. These beautiful animals range in age, breed and size. What they do have in common is a loving heart, a wagging tail and the need for a forever home with a caring family! All animals will already be spayed and neutered with up-to-date shots. Just add the love and take home a new member of your family! Each group has their own adoption fee schedule and adoption criteria. Each group on site will have educational information about the services they provide to the community. Volunteers will be on hand to discuss pet care and pet issues. PACC 911 wants you to know… Over 50,000 homeless pets are euthanized every year in Maricopa County alone. Due to an alarming overpopulation problem where there are simply not enough homes for the animals being born, we urge you to spay and neuter all pets and not add to this population crisis. We also urge you to adopt you next pet from a shelter or rescue group and save a life! The PACC 911 is an umbrella group working with all the local humane groups in Maricopa County. Animal
over-population has been an epidemic for too many years. But Hurricane
Katrina exploded the number of homeless pets past our comprehension. After
weeks without food, water and love, hundreds of animals from the Gulf
States were transported to Phoenix with the hope of finding a new life.
This year, more than ever, we ask you to open your hearts and your homes
to these wonderful companions.
