WALK:  

A two-mile FUNDRAISING WALK and fun run that welcomes dogs and their humans.

WALKING
GUIDELINES:
 
Walk or run with only one dog per person.
Walk or run the course only if both you and your dog are in adequate physical condition to run a minimum of two miles.
Use a 6–foot or shorter leash at all times.
Walk route is wheelchair and stroller accessible

 

 

 

POST-WALK ACTIVITIES: (FREE OF CHARGE)

While heart disease is our target, this event is really about saving lives. In the spirit of that goal, PACC 911 will be showcasing hundreds of animals from local shelters and rescue clubs for adoption.

Demonstrations in Agility, Flyball, Disc Dogs, Great Dane Drill Team, Lure Coursing, Rally-O and the Petite Elite Miniature Horse Drill Team
Interactive Mini-clinics in agility
Fanfare of animal-related booths
Area specifically dedicated to education and information regarding animal heart disease.
Free heart checks by Valley veterinarians to detect heart murmurs with appropriate   instructions on how to respond to the results.
Microchipping available!
Food Vendors all day long
Contests for dogs and their humans

 

 
EVENT GUIDELINES:  
No bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades or scooters allowed.
Please do not bring female animals in season.
Only bring your dog if he or she gets along with other dogs and people.
Make sure that your dog has current ID and rabies vaccination tags.
Bring plastic bags and clean up after your dog.
Only bring your dog if he or she is older than 6 months of age.
Water will be served community-bowl style. If you require a separate drinking container for your pet, please bring one.
You may also want to bring a blanket to sit and enjoy the lake
