Teams are the heart of the Heart to Heart Pet-a-Rama Walk – people walking together to raise money to support the thousands of pets suffering from heart disease. Team up to have fun, make new friends and raise money for a great cause. 

Teams walking together bring an energy and enthusiasm to the day, and are a big part of the success of our event.  Anyone can build a team – companies, families, and friends can be on a team.  Team members can raise money by asking family, friends, neighbors and co-workers to support their efforts.  It’s easy and a great way to share the experience of a fun day and a day that will make a difference in the lives of our pets and their families. 

It’s easy to get started…….

FORM A TEAM

• Create a TEAM of family, friends, co-workers, bowling league, dog-walking buddies (the more   members the better).  Ask a friend to ask a friend to ask a friend…….
• Designate a TEAM captain or captains and come up with a TEAM name
• Contact Barb at 480-951-9695 or info@hearttoheartpetarama.com to get your team set up.
• Recruit TEAM members and have them identify their Team captain/Team name when they register for the walk.
• Call Barb anytime you have questions or need help at 480-951-9695.

COLLECT DONATIONS

• Set a fundraising goal for your TEAM – we encourage each walker to raise a minimum of $100 to get a cool Heart to Heart T-shirt! (Ask 10 friends for $10) 
• Write a letter or send an email to everyone on your holiday card list asking for a donation.
• Hold a bake sale or car wash with the proceeds going to Heart to Heart.
• Ask your employer and other business associates to sponsor you.
• Ask your dry cleaner, hairdresser, barber, manicurist and anyone you do business with to help your cause.

WALK DAY

• Check-in with your TEAM at the TEAM REGISTRATION area
• Turn in any donations not previously turned in
• Have your TEAM photo taken
• Get some refreshments and take in the energy! 
• Wear your TEAM shirts/caps/costumes to let everyone know who you are and that you support your furry friends!
• Win great prizes – prizes will be given for the TEAM with the most walkers, the TEAM raising the most money, and the TEAM raising the most money per walker.
• Walk around the park to save a heart!
